The view from Halfpenny Lane over the fields of South
Warren Farm, the neighbouring farm, looking towards Pewley
Down
The view from the eastern end of the bridle path through
the farmland, looking across White Lane Farm where Linda
Cannon has her stables towards Newlands Corner.
The banner on the gate at the eastern end of the bridle
path next to Keepers Cottage in Guildford Lane. The long
distance footpaths head up hill here towards the North
Downs ridge and then turn eastwards towards Newlands Corner.
This is the view along that bridle path through the
middle of the farmland. It’s a very interesting
area where the sandstone ridge joins the North Downs chalk
ridge. There are lots of deer in the area, badgers and
foxes, a veritable wild life haven.
This is another picture of the view from Halfpenny Lane
over the fields of South Warren Farm, the neighbouring
farm, looking towards Pewley Down.
Tyting Farm has fallen into disrepair but
it wouldn’t take a huge amount of money to tidy
it up.
